Lefkada is a Greek island in the Ionian Sea on the west coast of Greece, connected to the mainland by a long causeway and floating bridge.
It’s notable for being the birthplace of Greek goddess Aphrodite and the suicide site of Sappho, the famed lesbian poet who is said to have flung herself from the cliffs of Cape Lefkada.
Also it has some of the most beautiful beaches. The water has azure color that makes it for great sight.
Will let the images say the rest about the island of Lefkada, but first let’s check the video of the Ionian Sea.
